Abstract

The position of corridors in the new world order and economic and geopolitical equations have made the creation and exploitation of corridors one of the main issues of cooperation between neighbouring countries. The important issue is that corridors, beyond their economic role, have become a tool for strengthening political influence and creating regional security in the new world order, and given the vital role of corridors in the development of regional and global trade, many countries are interested in investing in the creation and completion of these corridors. The main question of the research was: What is the position and role of corridors in the new world order? Based on the findings of the descriptive-analytical research method and with the benefit of library and documentary information, and based on the theoretical framework of the new world order that emphasizes; The transformation in the geometry of the international system includes: changes in the polarization of power, the nature of the international system, the nature of international relations and international norms, and leads to a fundamental change in the rules and values governing the world system, the research hypothesis was based on the principle that; Corridor competition between great powers in the era of connectivity brings peace or tension. Therefore, many tensions and wars pursue economic goals alongside political goals, and the strategic plan of governments in the new world order is a "multifaceted interactionist-Equilibrium" plan that is pursued by utilizing the various opportunities and capacities of the corridor.
